Among the all other soldiers, many were important, and moreover, Bajiprabhu Deshpande fought against the enemy for the sake of Shivaji Maharaj and sacrificed his life in the war at Panhalgad.

    Bajiprabhu was loyal and devoted soldier who accompanied Shivaji Maharaj for his escape from Panhalgad to Vishalgad. He bravely fought and protected Shivaji from enemy to advance their attack untill Shivaji reached Vishalgad safely. He fought untill his last breath and set an example of courage and loyalty.
